History

Established in 2011

In Autumn 2011, the adult-long dreams of two teammates came to fruition in the culmination of Grown Up Sports. The two founders, Joe and Favor, have a reputation of intramural team sports dominance and rec league above-averageness. They channeled that energy into making a platform for everyone they knew to do the same rather than answer the never ending question “Do y’all need one?” or “Can I play?” Additionally, they wanted to bring back “grown up” renditions of your favorite childhood sports, e.g. kickball and dodgeball, in addition to your favorite traditional sports, e.g. basketball, volleyball, flag football, softball, etc. and keep  that feeling they had playing in undergrad.

GUS Leagues aim to provide the best, most organized and fun adult recreational sports leagues across the board. We’re “grown up” and having a blast and we think you should be too. Even adults need recess.
